Money paid in taxation levies is money not available for personal discretionary spending.

Can you better decide how to spend your paycheck than the government? Looking for and highlighting expenses by government that are excessive and/or wasteful will help keep your tax burden low and let you keep more of your money for everyday expenses, saving for retirement or simply taking a vacation.
